CANCELLATIONS ARE LISTED ON PAGE TWO. YOU CAN ACCESS PAGE TWO AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE. All Year daily Announcements: • Please do prepay lunches by 8:30 in the morning if possible, this way it will not slow down the lunch lines. We will not do charges. If you are prepaying by check the minimum is $35.00. • When you are absent please remember to bring an excuse note the day that you return. It is very important that you bring a note to your homeroom teacher the day that you return from an absence. • Students should report to classes immediately upon dismissal from the previous class. There is to be no congregating in the halls. • Book Bags must be clear or mesh. Additional Announcements: 1. Any 8th grade girls interested in softball at the High School there will be a meeting after school Tuesday, May 18th in the High school gym, the meeting will be over at 3:00 2. Attention Students: If you have any charges for lunch you need to pay them as soon as possible. Report cards will not be issued to any student with lunch charges. 3. If you have medication in the clinic please let your parents know they can pick up anytime between now and Friday May 21. Medication not picked up will be disposed of appropriately at the end of that workday. You can pick up a letter from the nurse as a reminder if this applies to you. 4. Students that are 15 or will be 15 before August 4, 2010, and will be going for their Learner’s Permit for driving need to see Mrs. Logie in the front office to request a Certificate of Attendance. These students need to let the front office know AT LEAST ONE WEEK BEFORE they plan to take their test, if doing so before the end of school and NO LATER THAN MAY 14, 2010, in order to have it ready by the last day of school for summer testing. They cannot be issued after the last day of school (May 21, 2010). 5. The Band Boosters still have many items from their Spirit Wear Fundraiser for sale. They have the following items: Women's zipped hoodie (XL-4, L-1, M-6) - $25 Men's pullover hoodie (M-5) - $25 Adult t-shirts (S-8, M-7, L-10) - $15 Coffee Mug - 1 - $10 Please see Dr. Warnock or Mrs. Bowden in the Band Room to purchase any of these items. 6. Prayer Club meets every Wednesday at 7:15 in Room 409. All students are welcome!! |
