Hydrology will be our focus during the third nine weeks. We will study fresh water, salt water, weather, and climate. Chapters 11-18 of the McDougal-Littell Earth Science text will be used to enhance the hydrology unit. Astronomy will be our focus during the fourth nine weeks. We will study our moon, planets, and galaxies. Chapters 20-22 of the McDougal-Littell Earth Science text will be used to enhance the astronomy unit. We are currently working on a Planet project. Students will research a planet from our solar system and create a poster sharing the information with the class. Presentations will begin on Thursday, April 27, 2011. |
