A Guide to Internet Resources to Help You Pass the LEAP test. |

I hope you find some excellent resources here to help you prepare for LEAP. If you are a student in Louisiana, you can sign up at Louisiana PASS to practice LEAP skills in a format that is like the test. When you sign up, your Screen Name should be student and the password is tiger. You will be asked for your grade level; select it from the pulldown box. When creating a Screen Name for yourself, short and simple will work best because the computer will assign you a password that will include your screen name plus some numbers. This computer=generated password can be very long and difficult to type or remember correctly. After you entered your name, type in your zip code. You must also type in the name of an animal you would like to have as a pet. Since this is your password hint, again keep it simple. If you can't spell rhinoceros, put rhino or pick another animal that you will remember. The Skillstutor site is very good for practicing skills or learning skills that you might have missed. There is one problem. Your teacher must enroll you into a class and make your assignments. Pete's PowerPoint Station has games and PowerPoint presentations on almost any subject and most subjects have been covered on different grade levels. If you find one too easy or too hard, try another. I thank Blake Rutland for the information about youtube but I wasn't able to find anything I feel will really help.. |
