Telling Time Goals, Objectives, and GLE's

Goals: Students will be able to identify time using an analog clock. Students will also be able to identify days, weeks, months, and events using a calendar, as well as create and use schedules as an organizational tool. Objectives: *Tell time to the nearest hour and five minutes. *Tell time before and after the hour using analog clocks. *Use calendars and schedules to solve various real-life problems by sequencing events. Grade Level Expectations (Third Grade): 3-05: Use linear measurement and demonstrate telling time and simple money transactions. *Tell time to 5 minutes. *Tell time after the hour. *Tell time before the hour. 3-09: Identify, develop, and apply strategies to solve problems using real-life situations. *Identify and communicate strategies used to solve problems. |
