This year the students will continue to show mastery of their math facts using Rocket Math. This program uses both oral and written forms to aid in the memorization of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of math facts. Nightly flashcards or computer games on the internet can greatly aid the students who are struggling to pass these tests at school. Some of the topics to be covereed are: 1. addition and subtractin of larger numbers 2. multiplication and division of larger numbers 3. place value to the millions 4. fractions 5. decimels 6. time and money 7. probability and statistics 8. geometry Daily homework should be expected to enhance mastery of what is talked about in class. Mrs. Christensen teaches math to the whole fourth grade.
