Each week we will be starting a reading story for the week on Monday and finishing up the week with a reading quiz on Friday. This is not a test they must study for since we spend a lot of time in class on the material. A few times a year we will read some novels and the students will participate in literature circles to teach the students how some of their reading skills carry over to books they can find in the library. Nightly reading is strongly encouraged to improve comprehension and develop a love of reading!! |
