What We Do In Pre-K - 2 Music Class

What do we do in Music ?

This music program is age-appropriate and sequential. Over the course of the school year, the following skills are learned, reinforced, and expanded upon with more complexity over time. Although each weekly lesson has a main focus with clear objectives; elements from most, if not all, of the categories are touched upon each time. Therefore, this is the general list that includes the material that Pre-K- 2 at St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic School will study. Students are assessed during each music class by teacher observation.

#1 Singing, alone and with others, a varied repertoire of music
#2 Performing on instruments, alone and with others, a varied repertoire of music
