Obesity Related Disorders Mini-Project REQUIRED INFORMATION 1. Obesity statistic(s) from last 2 years (08-09) [5 points] 2. Information about your condition [10 points] 2A. Explain what your condition is 2B. Symptoms 3. Prevalence/statistic(s) about your condition [5 points] 4. !!!!! Why obesity is a risk factor for the disorder/condition/disease --> HOW obesity is related to the disorder - THIS IS THE POINT OF THE ASSIGNMENT [25 points] 5. Poster should be colorful and eye-catching. It is an informative poster, so you need people to want to look at it to be informed. Use different fonts, font sizes, colors, backgrounds. Must include at least one illustration.[10 points] TIMELINE Monday:Research. Read through research, write notes in notebooks (will check at end of period for classwork grade); keep a list of websites used. Read through research and write in your own words. Tuesday/Wednesday:Write research in your own words; create poster [5 points/classwork grade every day]. Email to me @ klockwood@spfk12.org Due Wednesday @ the end of class; must be emailed to me so I can print in color. Any time after the end of your class on Wednesday is late. DIRECTIONS 1. Open Powerpoint -Use one slide on Powerpoint for all your information. -We are using Powerpoint so you can easily create text boxes and insert pictures; to make it look like a poster. -Remember: use different fonts, sizes, and colors; include at least one illustration. I will be printing out your colors in color. Make it eye catching! 2. Open Word: Keep a list of websites used. I will not accept your poster without this list. You must use at least three different websites. |
