Regular Rules • No commercial kits • Minimum travel distance of 12 feet • Straight line travel, lane will be 4 feet wide. Cars start at center of lane's end. If the car goes over left or right boundary, the distance traveled does not count. • Only One mouse trap • string will be issues by Mr. Wellman (length that your group requests. Mouse traps will also be issued by Mr. W. • No wheels bigger than 6 inches in diameter -car can not be longer than 10 inches. -wheelbase of car, outside edge of one tire to outside edge of the tire cannot be wider than 6 inches. Mr. Wellman will give a template out for you to guide and check these dimensions as your group builds car. * 2 Additional Contests: 1. Fastest time to cover 12 feet. 2. Longest distance traveled. |
