Morning Meeting is an integral part of the Responsive Classroom approach to teaching (click on the link at right for more information about Responsive Classroom). Morning Meeting consists of 4 parts: * The Greeting gives students a chance to acknowledge their classmates and to be acknowledged themselves. * The Activity provides a chance for continuous class bonding and interaction. * Sharing time lets students share about themselves and get to know their classmates better. Also, as an immersion school, it gives them a chance to practice correct Spanish grammar and learn new vocabulary! • The Morning Message tells students what to expect of the day ahead and practice teamwork by reading the message as a whole class, in pairs, or in small groups. Additionally, students practice reading, learn new vocabulary, and work on grammar during our message time. |
