These adaptations have evolved so that the bird is better suited to its environment and life-style. You have read about a variety of adaptations for animals. Now, you will have a chance to apply your knowledge. You will design your own original bird- one well adapted to its habitat. You should design where the bird will live (habitat), what it will eat and how it will move.
