I have gathered some articles about Midwest Faults. I placed the links in order from 1,2. 4, 5, and 6. Yes, I left out link number 3 because I did not find a suitable 3rd article about the New Madrid Fault.
Read each article slowly and carefully. You will probably find different opinions and views...this is typical in the science community. You will also probably find that information and threats have changed some over the years.
