In partners, you will be randomly assigned a popular diet. You are to prepare a PPT presentation with the following information: 1. Name of diet 2. Describe diet 3. Weight loss claims - how much in how long? 4. Include (quote) a testimonial of someone who has done/tried the diet 5. Who are they using to try to sell it to you?Doctors? Celebrities? 6A. Do they claim it's scientifically proven? 6B. If so, find and explain the scientific research endorsing diet 7. Scientific research concerning diet; this is by other sources than the company selling the product, such as the FDA or independant university research Other Requirements: Your PPT should include: Heading, pictures, different fonts, backgrounds, transitions, animations (under slide show in the tool bar). Your should use two or more websites in this project. Last page of PPT must include links used. Your presentation should be shared equally between partners and both should be knowledgeable on the diet, including being able to answer teacher/peer questions. You will be working in partners and you will have two days to complete the project. You will be presenting your diet to the class. |
