Our field trip to Blue Jay Point Park is designed to enrich your child’s fifth grade experience by offering many opportunities for field studies that correlate with our curriculum. The emphasis of our trip will be on ecology/environmental awareness. The students will participate in activities relating to aquatic communities, wildlife, conservation, plants, and insects. This will give your child the opportunity to build on skills learned in the classroom by applying his or her knowledge to real-life experiences outdoors. The trip during the 2009-2010 school year will take place on October 28th and 29th.
