The media center loves to see students read, read, read! "Mrs. Riggs Recommends" supplements the AR program. If a student reads one of "Mrs. Riggs Recommends," the AR points will be doubled for that book! What a way to earn points and discover new books. Each month, the books change due to the month of a famous author's birthday. We also offer parent resources for checkout. Some of the books include: 10 Days to a Less Distracted Child SOS for Parents Power Parenting for Children 10 Minute Life Lessons for Kids Please feel free to come by the media center and browse our parent reference section. You may check out a book for a 2 week loan period. |
