Hello Everyone at Classroom 11 7-9 pm! Welcome to Unit 2 Character Counts! The online classroom in this unit will provide new interesting learning tools. 1. Before Lesson 1 please watch the video of Everybody Loves Raymond and answer the following questions: a. Who said the first lie and why? b. How many lies can you count in the segment? c. Which of the lies you saw do you usually use? 2. Before studying Lesson 2 watch the second part of the episode and develop the following activity: a. Use the vocabulary from Exercise B, on page 18 to express what happens in the video b. Write five sentences. What would you do if you were in Debra’s shoes? What would you do if you were in Grandma’s shoes? Remember to: Open a Voxopop account. (www.voxopop.com) Make sure your computer supports the voice recording program. You might need to install it.
