Web Quest: Saint Patrick's School

By Lauren Rodriguez/ Escola Monjuïc, Girona 2010

This activity is a Web Quest. A Web Quest is research done on the internet through with different websites to help you familiarize yourself with a subject. In our case, schools in California!

The purpose of this Web Quest is to help you get to know more about another school in a new country.

We also want to know more about the school and San Diego so that we can write better letters to your Pen Pals. You need to know a little bit about their school to do so!

All of the Website links are provided on this activity.

The activity is divided into 2 sections. The first one involves looking at the school on Google Maps and the second involves looking at the school website.

What you have to do is click on the links and answer the questions under each section. You will need to open a new Open Office file and save your answers there.

There is also a bonus section at the end of the worksheet. So you can get to know a little bit about College in California. Lets see who can answer all of the questions correctly :)

Saint Patrick's is where I spent 4th -8th grade. During my time there, I was Student Body President in 8th grade, played on the volleyball team and preformed in the talent shows, just to name a few activities. Lets take a look at the website so that you can find out more about these activities. Then you will be able to ask your Pen Pal how they are involved at St. Patrick's.

Please Note: As always, this is a graded activity so do your best work. And write in COMPLETE SENTENCES.
