What's the right doer for the following verbs?
 

 

Before we begin with the exercise, let's review. The ending -er is usually used to transform a verb into a noun.

Work (v.) = worker (n.)

But this is not true all the time. There are exceptions to this rule.

Operate (v.) = operator (n.)

Assist (v.) = assistant (n.)
