Did you know that as a young European today you are part of a big family of 800 million people? You are living in a world where you are free to get to know other children, other languages, other countries, other ideas. But, as a European, you must also learn to love and respect other people and to accept their differences.

In this Treasure Hunt you will learn about the Council of Europe and the European Day of Languages. Read the following questions and find all the information by clicking on the websites on the left.

1. What’s the Council of Europe?
2. What are the objectives of the Council of Europe?
3. Where is it?
4. How many member states are represented in the Council of Europe?

6. Which is the European anthem?
7. What is celebrated every 26 September?
8. What’s the purpose of the European Day of Languages?

Go get’em tigers!
