Going Shopping

Woof, woof!! I'm a stylish dog!

Read the following dialogue. What is it about? Where are the people in it? What are they doing? After reading it answer the questions below.

At home...

Helen: Hey Anna, what shall we do?

Anna: Why don’t we go shopping? I need to buy a shirt.

Helen: Good idea! Let’s go!

Anna: Let’s pop in that shop. I love what they have.

At the shop…

Shop assistant: Excuse me, can I help you?

Anna: Yes, please. I can’t find my size. They’re all too big or too small.

Shop assistant: What size are you?

Anna: I’m size 12.

Shop assistant: Here you are. Do you want to try it on?

Anna: Yeah! Where are the fitting rooms?

Shop assistant: Over there. Call me if you need me. My name’s Flora.

Anna: Thank you so much.

5 minutes later….

Helen: So, does it fit you?

Anna: It fits like a glove. What do you think, Helen?

Helen: It looks very nice. That colour really suits you.

Anna: Thanks. Well, I’m going to buy it.

Shop assistant: So are you keeping it?

Anna: Yes, how much is it?

Shop assistant: 35 pounds. Are you paying in cash or by credit card?

Anna: Cash. Here you are.

Shop assistant: Here’s your change. Cheers!

Anna: Bye!

In the street…

Anna: It was a bit expensive, don’t you think?

Helen: Well, maybe but your parents are paying for it, right?

Anna: That’s the problem. They are going to kill me.
