We arrived too early to check into our hotel in Paddington, so we decided to have a walk through the largest park in central London, which was really close.

Our walk was long, and we took photos of Kensington Palace, the Round Pond (where there are geese and swans waiting to be fed), the Italian fountains, the Princess Diana Memorial Fountain and the bronze statue of a famous fictional character, commissioned by the author J.M. Barrie.
WHAT STATUE WAS IT?

We crossed the park to South Kensington and there we saw an enormous building which is home for the popular annual Promenade concerts also called The Proms.
WHAT BUILDING WAS IT?

In South Kensington, there are many museums to visit. We started with a surprising dinosaur exhibition.

WHAT TWO OTHER IMPORTANT MUSEUMS DID WE VISIT IN THIS AREA?

After so much walking, we were ready to have a shower and go to bed – which we did right after supper!
