Mrs. Denson's assignment:

1. Select and read a biography or autobiography on a person that interests you. This book must be approved by Mrs. Anderson or Mrs. Denson.
2. Create either a PowerPoint presentation (eight slides minimum) OR a Publisher Brochure (eight paragraphs minimum) including the following:
a. Title of book, your name and period;
b. Three pictures of the person you are discussing;
c. A timeline of his/ her major life events (Timetoast);
d. A discussion about the person's early years. Explain/ hypothesize how this person's childhood shaped his/her adulthood;
e. A paragraph on his/her accomplishments;
f. A discussion of this person's goals. What factor's influenced this person's achievements?
g. An explanation of what this person's influence is/was to the world;
h. Your opinion of this person's accomplishments;
i. A recommendation of this (auto)biography to others. Was this a good book?;
j. A title for each slide or brochure paragraph.

Write 4-6 sentences for each bullet that contains writing. Be sure to check for grammar, spelling and mechanics!

PowerPoint Projects must include:
-Various backgrounds
-Transition effects
-The use of Blabberize.com (Blabberize can be imported or a link through PowerPoint.)

Publisher Brochures must include:
-Use of Publisher
-Various colors/backgrounds
-Properly formatted and folded
-Three uses for clip art
-Properly cited (auto)biography book
-Personalize by using either callouts, lines, connectors or borders to make it visually appealing
