Plants and Animals Work Together

Within these links you will find information that will help you diagram and explain a simple food chain beginning with the sun. You will also identify the role of producers, consumers, and decomposers in an ecosystem. We will also learn how plants and animals adapt to survive environmental changes.

You will be working and creating a project about a specific habitat and the animals that make it their home. You will need the following information on your project.

Project Requirements:

1. Put the name of your habitat at the top of your poster paper. You may use bubble letters or block letters to make it creative.

2. .Must show a scene of your habitat. This will cover most of your poster paper.

3.. Must include 4-6 animals that live in this habitat.

4.. Explain the following:
how the animals use adaptations to survive in their habitat, where specifically do they live in this particular habitat, what do they do to avoid predators, and what they do to find food, You may include other interesting facts about the habitat or the animals that live in there.

Your project poster will be completely filled with facts and illustrations. Make sure that you do it neatly. You must use crayons or colored pencils - NO MARKERS. And, please do not color over the facts that you write unless you do it very lightly.

If you are writing a report, you must include all of the same information as the project groups, however, you will not be including any illustrations. It should be a minimum of one hand written page front and back.
