By clicking on each link to the right, you can improve your skills with that library research tool or information literacy topic. Have fun!!!

First Link - Become a "millionaire" by perfecting your skill using the guide words at the top of each dictionary page.

Second Link - Watch a demonstration of how to evaluate a nonfiction book when doing research. After the demo, fill in your own evaluation form for a nonfiction book.

Third Link - Protect your privacy when you're online. Play this game to test your cybersmarts. For ages 8-10.

Fourth Link - Practice good netiquette (good etiquette or manners for the "net") in this game. For ages 9-12.

Fifth Link - A class activity in which we visit 12 mock (imaginary) web sites to test our surfing skills savvy.

Sixth Link - At this site, you'll find 3 games to help you memorize the DDC (Dewey Decimal Classification) categories for books in the library. Be sure to click FIRST on the List of Terms. Then start with the Flash Cards to help you in your memorizing. Good luck!

Seventh Link - Pretend you'll be booking a room at the Library Hotel. Choose the floor that has the nonfiction books you're most interested in. (You'll find the Dewey Decimal 000s on the 10th floor, the 100s on the 11th floor, and the 200s on the 12th floor.)
