Lions are the second largest cats in the world. They are fierce mammals who mostly live in Africa. They are predators and some of their prey are other large mammals. Lions hunt in packs for antelopes, buffalos, and zebras just to name a few. A female lion is called a lionesses. Lionesses are better hunters than male lions and because of that fact, they do most of the hunting. |
