Dear KB Parents,

Homework Calendars
November homework and book it are due. December are in the red folder today.

Book orders
Book orders went home today. You can go on line to order also. Go to scholastic.com
KB code is GR8XW. I will place the order Monday, December 10th. If you would like it as a gift for your child please send me an email. You can pick it up in the office. If it is not a gift I will put it in their backpack as normal. Thank you.

Christmas cards
KB would love your families Christmas cards. We think it would be fun to hang them up in the classroom. The children love to have their home lives part of the classroom. This is just a fun way for us to get ready for the Christmas season. Thanks.



Secret Santa Shop
Parent volunteers have set up a store in the gym. The store is so your child can go shopping for a Christmas gift for family members if you choose. If you choose to send money please put it in the envelope with the list of family members you would like your child to shop for. The Secret Santa Shop is your choice if the child does not bring money we have other projects going on in the classroom. Prices of the items in the store vary. KB is schedule to go on Monday, December 10th.

Christmas Program
The children will be having a Thursday, December 20st Christmas concert. The child will have a concert at 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. The children do need to at both concerts. The afternoon concert they can their uniforms. The night concert the children can wear their Christmas outfits or dress clothes. They need to be in the classroom at 5:45 p.m.

Show and Tell
Next week the letter of the week will be Kk. Please have your child bring an item that begins with Kk on his/her show and tell day.

Student of the Week
The student of the week starting Tuesday, December 4th will be Emily Kellogg.

At Home Activities
>read to your child every day
>practice writing ABC’s
>start having your child sound out words such as Kid, Kick, Ken, Kim
>practice writing numbers/ and recognizing numbers 11-20
>practice writing sentences
I see a kid. We have a kit.
