Level 2- The student can recognize spatial patterns and create simultaneous finger patterns in the range of 6 to 10 using five-wise (5-plus) and pair-wise (doubles) structures. The student is able to combine and partition numbers in the range of 6 to 10 using 5-wise and pair-wise structures without counting. The student may be unable to generate other combinations and partitions in this range. Level 3- The student is able to utilize reference numbers involving the sub-base of 5 and doubles to combine and partition numbers in the range of 1 to 10 without counting. |
