Dear Parents,
This week we celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday by reading some of his wonderful stories, making fun art projects, and participating in Dr. Seuss Smart Board activities. Dr. Seuss had a great gift of rhyming words. It was fun to hear the children rhyming words as they worked on their projects! We also learned about the letter "Tt" and learned about the many modes of transportation.

The Letter next week will be "Uu" and we will be talking about "understanding our feelings".

Lenten Crosses:
We like to remind you to please send in your Lenten crosses if you have not yet done so. Please keep the white sheet as your record of what your child's good deed/sacrifice is for each week. Please be sure that your child's name is on each cross and that they are all cut out. Thank you!

Lenten Project: Blessing Bags for the Open Door Mission
Blessing bags are gallon-size ziplocs filled with personal care items, snacks, just about anything useful/fun for the men, women, and children at the Open Door Mission. Please consider filling a bag for a person in need and sending it to school with your child March 7-31. We appreciate your support of this wonderful project!

Please remember to turn in your Preschool or Kindergarten registration form for next year. If you need a form, they are available on the parish website.

Upcoming Events:
Monday, March 6: No School (Teacher Work Day)
Wednesday, March 15: No High-5 (noon dismissal)

Have a wonderful weekend.
God bless,
Mrs. Crowe, Mrs. Gentile, Mrs. McHale, Mrs. Foster, and Mrs. Tabaka
