Dear Parents,
This week we shared items that begin with the letter "Yy". We also studied about yucky bugs and yummy food. We hope that you enjoyed the projects that came home! Thank you!
On Wednesday, April 26, we will have our field trip to the farm (3-day and High-5). We ask that all children wear their Pre-K t-shirt and come at 7:50 that morning. We will return to SSM by 11:45. There will be no High-5 class that day!
Next week we will have Buddy Day with our 4th grade friends on Monday and Tuesday. Our theme will be "Easter" and there will be no letter of the week.
Request: Please send your child to school in tennis shoes. Flip flops on the playground create a safety hazard. If your child wears sandals, they must have a back strap.
May Crowning: Thursday, May 4th
The High-fivers will be reciting and doing sign language for the Hail Mary at the May Crowning at 2:30 in the church. Parents are welcome to join us! We will try and let you know what side your child will be standing on at the alter. Please send your child in church attire for the special event. (Although this is a special moment for your child, we want you to know they will recite the Hail Mary at the beginning of the service, then we get dismissed to our classroom. We are in the church for a total of about 4 minutes. Please, there is no pressure to attend this event if it is a conflict with your schedule.) We will be reciting this again at the beginning of our Graduation Ceremony on the last day of school.

Spring Break: Spring Break begins next Friday, April 14 and goes through the next week. (School resumes on Monday, April 24.)
