INTRO

After being learning about a range of authors' life and arts of work, it's now time to take a closer look at one of them and know him well: Pablo Picasso.


PRE-TASK

GET FAMILIAR WITH PABLO PICASSO:

a) Watch a video about the Google Art Project and take a look at a variety of famous museums, works of art and artists.

b) Read carefully the biography of Picasso.


TASK

INTERVIEW PICASSO following the next steps:

a) Watch a sample video on how to interview someone by using PhotoFace.

b) Make a script considering some questions that are usually asked to artists.

c) Search a photo of the interviewee.

d) Upload the photo to PhotoFace and turn it into a 3D picture.

e) Use PhotoFace to dub Picasso’s answers by writing them down or recording them with your own voices as if you were him.


FINAL TASK

You are a well-known artist and have to make a work on commission but you are not very inspired at the moment and have to find inspiration in Picasso’s works. MAKE YOUR OWN WORK OF ART following the next steps:

a) Search “Picasso” in the Google Cultural Institute web and have a look at his works of art.

b) Read the works of art titles and check the unknown vocabulary in a visual dictionary if needed.

c) Choose your favourite art of work and draw what its title inspires you.

d) Make a new title up for the drawing you have just made.


As soon as you finish your task you can test your knowledge playing “WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE? (PICASSO EDITION)".
