INTRODUCTION Why This International Day? Violence against women is a human rights violation. Violence against women is a consequence of discrimination against women, in law and also in practice, and of persisting inequalities between men and women. Violence against women impacts on, and impedes, progress in many areas, including poverty eradication, combating HIV/AIDS, and peace and security. Violence against women and girls is not inevitable. Prevention is possible and essential. Violence against women continues to be a global pandemic. TASK En grupo tenéis que realizar una campaña en el centro para dar a conocer y prevenir la violencia de género y por qué motivo se celebra el 25 de noviembre. Debes crear un póster y una presentación en pareja, además debes realizar un vídeo en grupo de 4 personas. La valoración de tu trabajo esta en la rúbrica que te adjuntamos. PROCESS Dedicaremos 3 sesiones de clase a la presentación y organización del trabajo. Durante ese tiempo tendrás que trabajar en el grupo y entregar a la profesora un guión del trabajo que vais a realizar y qué herramientas habéis pensado utilizar. CONCLUSION The fight against gender inequality cannot be fought just by women, the men need to take a stand against it as well. Institutions have to promote a change in companies and private and public organizations so as to ensure that women and men enjoy equal opportunities to advance into rights at all levels. Education becomes essential to promote these objectives.
