Hebrew Lesson 11 - Kaf/Khaf

The KAF and KHAF look similar, but the KAF has a dagesh and the KHAF does not. The KAF makes the "K" sound as in Kitten, and the KHAF makes the same sound as the HET (studied in an earlier lesson).

Both letters are written differently at the end of a word and are called a sofit (final letter).
