The Greater San Diego Science and Engineering Fair has been held for over 50 years. Teachers are trained to guide students through their own investigations using the scientific method and the GSDSEF guidelines. Seventh and eighth grade students (and high school students) may be screened by GSDSEF and invited to participate in the GSDSEF in March.
