Design a Spanish comic strip or historieta that will illustrate one or more of the expressions on your vocabulary list. Decide what action will be taking place, how many frames you will need to convey the sequence (the comic strip should be at least two frames), and what each character will be doing and saying in each frame. Rough Draft: Write out the Spanish dialogue and narration that will appear in your comic strip and indicate in which frame. Hand in for corrections. Be sure that: 1. The situation illustrates one or more of the expressions on the list. Include at least one statement and at least one reaction to that statement. 2. Vocabulary is clear and simple enough that your classmates will understand without translation. You may use the dictionary or cupones but keep it simple. 3. The idea is original, clever, and/or humorous. example of a rough draft: Frame #1 Mother says to child “Levántate, son las seis de la mañana. Vamos a la escuela” Boy says, “Que pesado! Estoy enfermo, me duele la cabeza.” Frame #2: Mother says, “Cuánto lo siento. No puedes ir a la escuela hoy.” Child thinks, “Qué bueno!” After your rough draft has been handed back and corrected or revised, make your illustration with dialogue blurbs. |
