4th Grade Spanish Speaking Country Poster Project, phase 1 – due Friday, October 21
1. Fill in all the items on your research sheet in Spanish. Have them checked by Ms. Rincón.
2. Write sentences in marker on index cards or strips of paper in large legible letters for your poster about your country using at least 12* Spanish sentences from the research sheet. You may do more if you like. Be sure the facts on your worksheet have been checked for accuracy as well as spelling before writing the final sentence strip for your poster.
A. One of your sentences must be about the colors of the flag, with an illustration.
B. One of your sentences must be identifying the capital, with a map that indicates the location of the capital.
3. At least 5 or more of your sentences (besides the capital and the flag) should have illustrations. These can be your own drawings, cut outs, photocopies, postcards or real items like stamps, coins and bills. Illustrations should be printed out or drawn AT HOME.
4. Posters will be assembled IN CLASS when all materials are completed. We will begin assembling the posters on Friday, October 21. Students should have completed all research, written their final draft sentences on index cards or strips printed out on computer, and collected all their illustrations by that date. |
