Elementary Spanish 1 is 3-hour-a-week, 42-lesson language course meeting for 14 weeks. We introduce you to approximately one-fourth of the grammar and vocabulary you need to adequately express the target language. You will maintain a balance between the four basic language skills of reading, writing, listening, and speaking. We use a direct-method approach in the classroom, and you will immerse yourself in the language during the class time.
