Trained Communion ministers bring prayer, presence and/or the Eucharist to those who are in numerous long-term facilities/nursing homes in our Parish, as coordinated by the Pastoral Care staff.

St. Therese extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion visit the following sites in our parish, on Sundays and Wednesdays:

Barry Health Center

Alpine North

Windemere Nursing Home

We are always in need of Communion ministers who are willing to serve those members of our community who are unable to join us in our weekend liturgies. Help is needed both on weekends and during the week. Ministers can choose what type of setting is best for them, and how often they wish to serve. Yearly formation and gathering with other pastoral care ministers in the community is expected.
