PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS! For your final examination grade, you will be required to present the findings of your 4th quarter research project, and defend your research in an oral exam. Evaluation will be based on the oral presentation rubric, with the content emphasis based on your presentation and understanding on your oral defense under questioning. Requirements for Presentation (PowerPoint): 1. All PowerPoints must be shared with me via Google Docs 24 hrs. prior to your exam. DO NOT SHOW UP WITH YOUR PP SAVED ON A JUMP DRIVE OR IN YOUR PERSONAL FOLDER ONLY. Do have a backup. All presentations must be saved as SS020242 1112-(2 or 5) Final Presentation (Last Name) 2. You must introduce your topic and/or thesis, explaining why you chose your subject and what you hoped to demonstrate or learn. 3. You must provide an overview of the major generalizations you utilize to defend your position. 4. You must review and discuss primary source evidence relied upon to support your thesis, and demonstrate an ability to effectively use the presentation medium to convey this information to the class. 5. You must review conclusions made based on your research. 6. You will have a total of 5 min. 3 min. max to present and at least two minutes to respond to questions from either the class or me. |
