The eight schools that were eligible to participate in Region 1 South, now Region 2, represent three different counties, Aroostook, Washington, and Penobscot. They were grouped together because of geographic proximity rather than county affiliation. The eight schools are: Stearns High School in Millinocket, Schenck High School in East Millinocket, Sherman Middle School in Sherman, Southern Aroostook CSD in Dyer Brook, Hodgdon Elementary and Middle School in Hodgdon, South Side School in Houlton, East Grand in Danforth, and Vanceboro Elementary School in Vanceboro. The eight participating teachers from these schools rotate traveling to one of the schools about three times a month for professional develpment. These professional develpment sessions are all beyond the regular school day with the exception of four full day sessions. Links to their class websites will be added when available. |
