Annie Kottenstette grew up in West Des Moines, Iowa with her parents and her twin sister Alyssa. She went on to attend Iowa State University where she majored in Elementary Education, and minored in Educational Computing. Annie finished her time at Iowa State by student teaching in Rome, Italy at the American Overseas School of Rome. Mrs. K taught for a year at Waukee Middle School, which is a suburb of Des Moines. She taught 6th and 7th grade computers. The following year, Annie moved to Kansas City to start at St. Elizabeth. Annie just received her Masters degree from UMKC in Curriculum and Instruction, with an emphasis in Learning Technologies. In her spare time, Mrs. K enjoys reading, playing golf, playing tennis, and spending time with her dog Maddie. Mrs. K also loves Apple computers. |
