1) EACH TEAM IS ALLOTTED 10 TOTAL MINUTES. CUMULATIVE TIME WILL BE KEPT ON A CHESS TIMER. WHEN YOUR 10 MINUTES ARE UP, SO IS YOUR DEBATE.
2) EACH TEAM MEMBER MUST SPEAK
3) INDIVIDUALS MAY SPEAK MORE THAN ONCE.
4) SPEAKERS WILL ALTERNATE AFFIRMATIVE/NEGATIVE.
5) IT IS UP TO EACH TEAM TO ORGANIZE TIME.
ALSO REMEMBER:
A) THE FOCUS IS STILL ON THE PRESENTATION OF EVIDENCE.
B) YOU ARE ENCOURAGED TO USE THE INFORMAL STRUCTURE TO FOSTER BACK AND FORTH EXCHANGE OF IDEAS.
C) THIS DEBATE IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO IMPROVE INDIVIDUALLY ON A WEAK FIRST DEBATE OR TO COMPLETE YOUR GRADE IF YOU MISSED THE FIRST DEBATE.
