On September 15th through 19th students at Claude A. Taylor Elementary School will take part in Lexington District Two's "We Love America Week". The theme this year is "Every Voice Counts". Students at Taylor will celebrate our great nation all week. Students will write poems or an art piece and display them on the classroom doors. Our school will be decorated in patriotic red, white and blue! Monday: Everyone will wear red. Tuesday: Everyone will wear white. Wednesday: Everyone will wear blue. Thursday: Everyone will wear red, white and blue. Friday: Everyone will wear something with a flag or patriotic symbol on it. On Wednesday, September 17th we will celebrate "Constitution Day". |
