Brainstorming: KWL Chart
 

 

Step 1: Using a ruler, neatly create a KWL chart in your writing journal. Read the following questions and answer only the questions that you know under the "K" section of your writing notebook. You can use any of your notes from your Social Studies class.

1.Who were the Cro-Magnons?
2.Where did they come from?
3.What were they known for?
4.What type of art were they known for?
5.What type of tools did they make?
6.How did they provide food for their families?
7.How did they create fires?
8.What did they use for their house?

Step 2: In the "W" section of your notebook, list 5 questions that you want to know about the Cro-Magnons.

Step 3: Research to find the answers to the 5 questions that you asked and fill in the "L" section of your chart.
