STANDARDS FOR WORK TURNED IN
  Final Copy Quality

These standards are guidelines to help you turn the highest quality work. If any of these standards are not met you may be asked to partially or entirely rewrite the assignment.
Use this sheet as a check off list before you turn in your work.

ALL ASSIGNMENTS:
• Make sure your heading is in the upper right hand corner of your paper. If you forget to put your name on your paper you will not get credit for the work.
• Your final draft should be free of all spelling, grammatical, and punctuation errors. COMPLETE SENTENCES SHOULD BE USED AT ALL TIMES!

HANDWRITTEN ASSIGNMENTS:
• Your final draft should be word processed when requested; assignments that are not required to be word-processed need to be written in Blue or Black ink ONLY! NOT IN PENCIL!

WORD PROCESSED ASSIGNMENTS:
• Your handwriting on both the rough draft and the final draft must be legible. Word processing must be in a font no larger than 12pt. assignments also need to be double-spaced. Choose a font that is not script.
• If you word process, always print on plain white computer paper. If you hand write your assignment, use only white or light colored lined notebook paper.

ART/GRAPHIC DESIGN PROJECTS:
Communication art is also a skill that we develop. Presentation is important!

Always give your piece a title!

Your work should be neat and clean, free from rips and tears.

Your work needs to show evidence of effort. Work done ten minutes before it is due, is obvious.

Use black outlining; color neatly.
