Taking care of your text books is your responsibility

Textbooks are checked out from the library.

New students must bring their schedules to the library to get textbooks.

Students are asked to sign books in ink on the inside front cover.

Please take good care of your text books and novels. Return them in good condition in order to avoid a fine.

Students are responsible for all textbooks and novels checked out to their account.

Students must pay for lost, stolen, or damaged books. Once your account is cleared, we will check out another book to you. If your lost book turns up, you will be refunded.

Lost = full price
damaged - unusable = full price
damaged - usable = $10

We recommend that you cover your text book if you bring your book to school regularly. You may buy covers or make them out of brown paper bags that you can get for free at the grocery store.

You must return text books before the end of the school year. Your teacher will let you know the day you are scheduled to return them.

Failure to return text books will result in bills sent home, a phone call to your parents and the holding of your yearbook.

If you are in the 8th grade and you have not returned your text book at the end of the school year, a notice will be attached to your school record.
