The more you time and energy you spend on your art, the better you are going to get at it...and the faster you're gonna get there. The internet has a lot of amazing tools to help your understanding of technique, theory, and history, so dive in. The internet also provides THE global networking site for your performances. So, don't be shy! Put your singing up there for the world to see. That said, do it in a smart and safe way. Many performers have gotten their break by getting a strong internet following, so, trust me, it will be time well-spent. Even if it doesn't give you your big break, it'll get your name out there, have more people enjoying your performances, and will help you to feel comfortable being out there for the world to comment upon -- a reality as a performer. Have fun with all the resources linked on this site, and good luck always in all your endeavors! |
