Studying math facts every day for 5-7 minutes is essential in the learning process of these facts so that students can recall the answers quickly and accurately. Our class practices these facts every day as part of our daily math instruction. We use flaschcards and the computer to study. You can also study at home. Each Friday, we take a timed drill on the set of facts each child is presently on. As your child makes 80% on the test, they move on to the next set of facts. They begin with addition and move to: Subtraction, Addition/Subtraction combined, Multiplication (0's - 12's), Division, and finally all operations combined.
