Welcome back 6th graders!
This year we will really be focusing on developing as artists. We will start with a review of drawing skills that were introduced to you last year but then we will progress to more challenging techniques.

Once students finish their "Welcome to New Orleans" cards, we will be learning about transitional drawing. This method of drawing requires drawing one object and slowly morphing it into another object through a series of small sketches. Transitional drawing is the root of animation. We will work on these drawings for a couple of weeks and the outcome will be a test grade.
