Classroom Procedures


1. Upon arrival all students are to take their seat. As your name is called you are to respond by saying “here” or “present.”

2. Use black or blue ink only. We will use pencils when we do map activities. You should have a pen and a pencil every day.

3. Copy your homework in your agenda book.

4. Head your paper and copy the objective on a sheet of paper. Underneath your objective you will start your warm up.

5. When papers are collected, you will place your paper on top of the stack as it is passed to you.

6. I will collect the papers from the students seated farthest to the right
Do not leave your seat to turn in any work.

7. In order to speak, you must raise your hand and wait to be recognized.

8. When reading aloud, or performing any presentation, you must sit/stand up straight and speak so that the class can hear you.

9. When a student presents in front of the class, all students must be silent.

10. Whenever you leave the class, you must sign in and out. You are responsible for writing the time you left and the time that you return on the sign out sheet.
