We will focus on making connections and review different skills. 1.pneumonia – disease of the lungs 2.cringe – to shrink in fear 3.scolding – reprimand harshly 4.stethoscope – instrument used by doctors to listen to sounds in your chest 5.obliged – thankful for a favor 6.bawling – crying 7.wince – to draw back with pain 8.warden – gamekeeper, guard 9.loping – run, race, gallop 10. feeble – mentally deficient HW: Read 20 minutes nightly Wednesday- Reading Packet Thursday- Study for vocabulary test and finsh paragraph Friday- Vocabulary Test!! Language Arts: We will review figurative language and work on making poetry books |
